February 4, 2024This product is labeled to be given to an animal with sensitive skin and stomach. However, it causes horrible stomach and GI problems and also causes bands skin problems too. My dog now 7 racks has a skin and autoimmune condition and we thought put them on a good quality sensitive skin and stomach dog food and it will help well for $5.6 years he had the worst parts I've ever smelled my life. They will clear a house. They will clear an auditorium. It will clear up. Freaking warehouse and that's no exaggeration and his nose was breaking out getting worse and I can only imagine what it was doing to his stomach and how he was feeling and how much it hurt him. How much pain he was in well lady gifted us perino dog food and I tried it. Just you know why not try it and immediately his parts went down to almost unnoticeable when you're sitting right now to him. Any flatulates maybe 10% is much. You just don't notice his farts at all and his skin on his nose and belly is getting dramatically better without the medication at all. And we spent thousands of dollars on medical bills, special dermatology, bill, special GI doctor bills, medication bills and honestly, they probably took at least one or two years off my dogs life as a result of him being fed this food like because of this food and all long they were false advertising mislabling. It like animal cruelty in my opinion. Torturing my dog for $5.6 years and lying about oh. We're helping your dog. I think they should be shut down. I think they should be sued. I think they should be taking a court. Someone should be jailed to the books down the law. I'm not sure what can be done but they are heinous the other devil but chewy has great customer service and I love their customer service. Thank you!

February 15, 2024I’ve had my English Bulldog on PPP sensitive skin and stomach since he was 8 weeks old. He just turned a year in December and I switched him over from the puppy lamb and oatmeal to the adult. I had half a bag of the puppy left, so I slowly transitioned him. Almost immediately he was less interested in his food. As I used more adult and less puppy, for the first time we had allergies and dermatitis and an upset stomach with diarrhea. He developed an interdigital cyst on both front feet and turned his nose up at the food and began licking his paws and at the air constantly. I took him to the vet immediately and they couldn’t find anything wrong other than the obvious inflammation on his feet, face, etc. This was a dog my vet said was the healthiest bulldog she’d ever seen one month before. $1,200 later, and a bunch of steroid creams and an expensive prescription for Apoquel to help with all of the inflammation, which i hate, I’m hoping i can limp him along on the rest of the puppy food. I read here that others have had this problem too, so I am on the hunt for a new food to transition him to. I don’t know what they did to this food, but it’s junk now. It was half powder too, just a mess to deal with.
Used this food for a year NOT ANYMORE-DO NOT BUY.

January 15, 2024We’ve fed our dog the sensitive skin and stomach salmon and rice formula as her former foster family said it was the only food that helped her sensitive tummy. Have had no issues at all since adopting her. We bought a bag late December, and since then she has had awful diarrhea, and gas (seriously, room clearing farts). We thought it was possibly a bug or she ate something outside. But I don’t think it’s a coincidence that tons of people are having this issue in the same window of time. Purina is denying there’s anything wrong but in my opinion thats garbage. Dogs have died seemingly from this food. We’re dumping out, washing her food tub, and buying new food today as we speak. We’ll be leaving purina entirely and will be going to a different brand to find her something new. DO NOT BUY THIS, I’m sure there will be a recall in the near future.

January 11, 2024I ordered the Purina pro plan sensitive skin and stomach lamb and oatmeal formula for my dog on 12/28/2023. I purchased the larger bag after purchasing a smaller bag and having no issues with it. The larger bag was nothing but issues - the food was dusty, there were food fragments and food dust everywhere. Not only that, but it made my dog extremely sick. She had food aversion and wouldn’t eat until she was literally so starving that she had no choice, she was vomiting, lethargic, and her allergies flared up terribly again after we spent months getting them under control. I am extremely unhappy with this food and warn you to stay away from it. They switched to a new formula that is making dogs very sick. Luckily I figured out it was the food that was making her sick, otherwise who knows how bad it could have gotten.
