Trendy for a reason!
MomKatrina· Review provided by newbalance.com · April 16, 2024
I’ve been seeing New Balance a lot on my social media feeds. “Dad shoes” are super popular right now and I see why! I’m lucky enough to live near a New Balance store so I was able to try on to get the perfect size and see if I liked how they felt. And let me tell you when I took the first step I immediately noticed how COMFORTABLE they are! I saw online it’s recommended to size down by a half size and I agree with that! I’m normally a 9 but went with a 8.5. As a new mom i definitely see myself sporting these in the long run, whether I’m going on a stroll with my baby or out shopping with my grandma, I know these are going to be comfortable all day. I have another brand of tennis shoes that are also popular but I noticed they kind of pinch my toes a bit and these are perfect if you have wider feet. Also a side note: I have blood clots and I’ve noticed since my legs go numb faster if sitting in certain positions and in my other tennis shoes they can be tight and make my toes go numb. Thankfully these don’t squish your toes so I don’t have that problem with these! Totally recommend getting these if you’re in the fence about them. You won’t regret it alone because of how comfy they are.
New Balance 530 Review – Disappointed
Simone· Review provided by asos.com · November 30, 2024
I ordered the New Balance 530 from ASOS, and while the service from ASOS was fantastic—fast shipping and smooth customer experience—the shoes themselves were a huge letdown.

After just four wears, the quality issues started showing: loose threads everywhere and signs of premature wear. For the price, I expected much better craftsmanship. Honestly, I’ve had better trainers at half the cost. This was my first experience with New Balance, and based on this, it’s also my last.

Also these are not the most comfortable or supportive. I’m wondering if I received a defective pair, given how many positive reviews there are. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t match up with the hype.

Overall, great service from ASOS, but very poor quality from New Balance. Not worth the price tag.
Great shoe for style
Johnbry· Review provided by newbalance.com · October 30, 2024
I was looking forward to hoping on the trend of Newbalance for style. As a runner the quality of a shoe really is essential part of the buying process and the same process . Upon the deleivery of this shoe one of the things that I loved was the packaging. Everything about the unboxing process exceeded my expectations. To my surprise the weight of the shoe was one of the first things I noticed. It was very light. I was expecting a more heavy weight to provide assurance for durability. The mesh on this shoe was also thin I assume for airflow purposes. While a light weight shoe is great I am worried about the longterm durabilty of this shoe. Because of the weight and thin material the comfort is not what I scale to be on a maximum level.
Cute but lacking comfort/support

Overall cute shoe. Definitely a great dad sneaker. The color is a very warm neutral which I like as a softer alternative to the classic white/grey/navy. The unisex sizing works pretty well but they run wide compared to women's shoes. I recommend trying some on in a store before purchasing. I was unimpressed with the insole. It's very thin and very flat. These are definitely street sneakers and NOT trainers. I bought them for work in a hospital and had to put it different insole inserts, which is ok but a bummer for a brand that makes great cushioned running shoes. I feel like they skimped on quality a bit. Also the uppers are very stiff/plasticy so wondering how these will actually hold up.
