Definite Improvements from the old system, but with some sacrifices that I wish I'd known

First the positives:
-The integrated D-rings on top of the decked system are a huge improvement. Anyone who's hauled stuff on top of the decked system knows that stuff sits higher than you'd prefer, so being able to strap it down to the deck is a must.
-The squared off drawers allowing wider storage is awesome. I can now fit pelican cases with the handles forward, where in my original decked drawers, they had to sit sideways, taking up too much room front to back. Now that I can store them turned 90 degrees, I can fit 2 more cases than before.
-The new storage boxes that come with the system have easy release open handles from the top of the case, so you no longer have to lift them out to access the side buckles. That's a smart and practical improvement from the old storage boxes.
-The open sides allowing you to store longer slim items (full length of your bed, up to about 2-3 inches in diameter) is helpful use of space that was wasted before. (but that comes with a sacrifice mentioned below).
The new open ammo cans and the new system for attaching the decked to the truck bed makes for a much easier install, which in turn would make removing the decked system easier if you want to haul dirt bikes, appliances, or anything tall that you'd avoid hauling with the decked system installed.
Negatives:
-The drawers have a stability bar at the back that hinders storage in the back 4 inches of the drawer, which wastes 4 inches (front to back for the whole drawer) compared to the original decked system.
-With the shortened drawers, that new freed up space on the sides is necessary, but if you have to use it, you will not be able to use the deeper ammo cans, you'll have to use the shallow ammo cans, which has enough room for some pocket change and not much more. If you want to store your hitch or ratchet straps, you can forget using the ammo cans with the shallow buckets. If you use the deeper drop-in buckets, then you can't store anything in the open sides.
Fits like a glove and solid as a rock! PS make sure to do the high kick!

I battled with leaving toolboxes in the bed or in the back seat and with a new rig I wanted to do better. After long sleepless nights and worrying about what system I wanted to do I pulled the trigger on DECKED. Instructions are great and provide great break points to stop and get your drink or exercise in. OH make sure you pay attention, the deck is cut to fit and if you, put it together backwards you become a pro at disassembly and assembly. Keeps my gear dry and locked up (optional locks are worth it) I was worried about loosing some height but it makes up for storage and always having what you need ready to go. Plus I have an excuse for more gear now. It will hold some Milwaukee Packout gear just right however I think I’m going to DECK out with DECKED boxes (see what I did there). I could see my self adding the cargo slide in the future. The only 2 small and non issue issues I have are: 1. In my 24 GMC Sierra I have the old man handle In the bed and the corner of the DECKED system wont let the handle go all the way down. ( I need to ask them if I can trim it, wont effect the system and it doesn’t rattle so I’m okay with it) 2. We just got back from a dusty high desert trip and it seems the dust likes to get in everywhere but heck its water proof not air tight right?
One more thing, buy all the tie-down D rings and put them in at once. I think you need 2 extra sets. They are strong and worth all the points.
I got the Black hop up kit cause I wanted to keep with the black but you do you!
Over all I love the system and quality. Strong tough and worth the spend!
Life changing.

I own and operate a hydraulic and pneumatic repair company; we have three trucks in the field. This was for the work truck I personally use.
Upon opening the box, I was immediately struck with the long-forgotten level of quality men our age can only vaguely recall, the instructions are concise and refreshingly amusing, the entire installation took about an hour or so with a coffee break.
Upon completion i was able to move the entire contents of my crosshatch toolbox and all the parts which historically filled my rear seats inside the cab. The drawer's functionality is flawless, they open and close with minimal effort and everything is accessible. The deck is taller than I would like but physics is absolute, and I would not wish to reduce the drawer dimensions at all. I do think locks for the drawers at least should be included yet they are an easy addition.
There are quite a few selections of additions, perhaps picking your own could be a purchase option for y'all as personally I would have traded the half rack and the Sixer for an additional Drawerganizer and stash bins, which, i ended up purchasing.
I also immediately ordered the battle mat, as the decking is slicker than snot on a doorknob, the battle mat is a must have, nothing moves on it which is important for us.
This is a level of organization which automatically adds points to your man card, you will make your friends and colleagues jealous of this kit.
To summarize, Excellent. High Quality product, honest communication, it is absolutely worth every penny.
Great product with no generational support.

It's hard to say that I don't love my decked drawer system. It's great. It's extremely functional. It was relatively affordable. It was pretty easy to install. I'm a tradesman, and installed one in my work truck. I've been using it about 1. 5 years now. It's a legitimate upgrade to what I had. That's the good, the bad, however, is that I was very hopeful to purchase the Decked Cargoglide to install on top of the drawer system. Both the drawer system and the cargoglide have both went to a new design, that's not particularly a bad thing, but it is when they aren't compatible with the "legacy" products. While it's very hard to say I hate my drawer system, it's also hard not to feel like a customer base has been left behind and forced out of certain products. Several cool new accessories for the new drawer system that are not compatible with the old, as well as a major upgrade (the cargoglide) being incompatible as well. I can't say I don't recommend it for exactly what I use it for, but, when my next work truck rolls around, I'm not sure I'll be able to buy from decked again, as this has me searching out used options or, better yet, different manufacturers. Bottom line: I love the drawer system, it changed my ability to stay organized out in the field, but man, changing a product line and just leaving the previous generation behind hurts.
