The leaders Nepali Congress (NC) are said to have convinced Rajesh Hamal, one of the veteran actors in Nepali Film Industry as a party candidate for upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) Election. Hamal had held round of talks with NC leaders before agreeing to tread into NC politics sources said.
Superstar Hamal agreed to join NC after series of discussion with party president Shusil Koirala, Laxman Dhakal, the personal secretary of Koirala informed nepaliheadlines.com
Superstar Hamal seems to be following the path of other actors in Neapali Film Industry who already have joined various political parties.
Congress source has claimed that Hamal is joining NC within a few days. “Rajesh Hamal is sure to join party after a long discussion, he will formally be welcomed in the party within in a few days” said secretary Dhakal.
